Hawaiian Halloween (EP) review By Spud "The Square" Spikowski Released October 1, 2020 on Surf Asylum Records, the "Hawaiian Halloween" (EP) is the first of 3 EPs in the so called "Dick Dale Trilogy" or "The Last Silver Whammy Bar" storyline arc of Beachfront Vinny's ongoing quest to become the next king of the surf guitar. It is composed of 6 tracks that are equally split between music singles and spoken word comedy with one following the other starting with comedy, "The Death of Dick Dale." Dick Dale was Beachfront Vinny's surf guitar mentor . In this first track, a strange old man appears at The Surf Spot which we learn is the high tech recording studio owned and operated by Long Island surf guitarist Beachfront Vinny.
